Trump Didn’t Show Up

Trump didn’t show up today to honor the fallen men and women of 9/11. Why in the world did we have such a heartless man as president of the United States? If he was our president at this moment, would he have called everyone who died losers? Would he have even been present? He didn’t show up! That says a lot. So many beautiful lives were lost, and he didn’t show up!!!! God bless the souls of all who struggle without their loved ones. May we find peace somehow in knowing that a leader shows respect through example. Trump didn’t show up to show respect for all the people Al Qaeda terrorists murdered. This is too hard to comprehend. The acts of terrorists are pure evil, but Trump only shows up to dictate hate. Remember the January 6th insurrection? The day his terrorists stormed the Capitol Building? We should never tolerate it. Trump didn’t show up to show his respect! He could care less if our country ever mends! He didn’t show up to honor our dead!

This charming story appeals not only to my baby boomer counterparts but to those of all ages who find the Summer of Love a quest for peace, freedom, and equality. The struggle for unity will never die. We are the United States. Divided is an impossibility.
