The Rain Crys
Blue sky watches as the dark clouds float by
And we stand below as the wind blows dust into our eyes.
Cockeyed love is what we are dealing with these days. Common decency and respect are gone. Hate has replaced the golden rule and false negatives are being taught in schools.
As the wind blows ferociously outside, I have one request, for hate to be taken up into outer space and given its final resting place.
Karma’s light
It’s getting closer to exposure. Soon we will see multiple convictions against lying politicians and a dishonest ex-president. Karma will make things right.
Too much hostility, too many guns, too much fear, too many tears, too much disease, too many suffering, too much hatred, too many dying.
Another shooting. It’s an everyday occurrence now. Everyday shootings. Lives ended by guns. In a civilized nation, this type of behavior should be unheard of. Law makers outlaw guns!
It’s a world filled with people seeking lasting friendships. Let’s bond starting with our constant awareness of acceptance. Lighting the way with love and forgiveness.
I’m Ready
Our divided country is easier to mend while walking together toward the light. I’m ready to sit in the sun and watch conspiracy theories melt away with kindness and love. President Biden spelled it out in his State of the Union Address. Let’s get it done. Together we stand. Let’s stand up and give human rights a salute. Stop the hate, tell the truth, and end the takeaways so we can get it done. I’m ready, aren’t you?
