Lanza is a sequel to Losing the Boomer Blues and Boomer Chicks, following three friends (Mary, Jane, and Lucy) as they navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, racism, and political division in the 2020s, reflecting on their experiences as Baby Boomers who came of age during the 1960s. The book explores themes of aging, social injustice, and the fight to preserve democracy, as the characters find peace and purpose in the present moment.

When you start to age, you feel older. When it’s 10 below, you feel colder. When you love, you become warmer. But when you find a lover, all of a sudden, you feel warmer and younger.
