Today Is a Day for Decisions

Whether you are headed to the polls or sitting with a cup of coffee at the kitchen table wondering what to do, you must vote! It’s your chance to make a difference. You can help your fellow Americans. Please vote blue. We need to bring the country back to reality. Death is all around us, and our President refuses to do anything about it. We can not live another four years in fear listening to his lies. Too many people have died. Now is the time to bring peace, love, and health back into our lives. Save Americans and America! Boomers, Hang in There

Hello: I am a writer who directs your attention to life in the now. My most recent masterpiece is Losing the Boomer Blues. This whimsical story is about three old friends traveling back in time to lose their boomer blues. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and fell in love with writing at a very early age. I have written many short stories and poems down through the years. I’ve won awards, but more than that, I have won the hearts of my readers. I became a member of the Oakland Art Association in the late ’90s and devoted many years to creating collage art but never stopped writing. I decided to start writing Losing the Boomer Blues in 2016 and finished writing it in August of 2018. It was with great pride that I self-published it in October of 2018. This charming story appeals not only to my baby boomer counterparts but to those of all ages who find the Summer of Love a quest for peace, freedom, and equality. The struggle for unity will never die. We are the United States. Divided is an impossibility.

We Have A Problem President

Today was quite shocking. The President campaigned in Florida, and in every sentence, he used a curse word. I was shocked. How in the world did such a vulgar person become President of the United States? Are some United States citizens that ignorant? We have very sick people in hospitals throughout the country fighting for their lives. Trump says we are turning the corner on Covid-19 cases. The number of deaths are going up every day. What kind of person lies about this deadly illness? There is no cure. We have only doctors to trust, not Donald Trump, and our hospitals are filling up. People will die in large numbers in their homes, not the hospital. And today, Russians have locked down hospital computers and demanded ransom payment. Our country is in poor shape right now. Trump is killing us by doing nothing to stop all of this. Please vote this person out! Vote blue for Biden! The truth counts. Don’t be dead wrong!

The Author of Losing the Boomer Blues Pleads for Americans to Vote Blue

If you are a member of the boomer generation, you must realize that right now, your voice matters! You have a say in this election, and you have the right to vote and voice your opinion. We worked hard to change things in the sixties, but now we are faced with the fear of losing everything, including our democracy. Don’t let a dictator take it all away. Four more years of this illegitimate President will end life as we once knew it in America. Trump has ignored the danger of the pandemic from the beginning. He will lead our country on to more division and possibly a civil war while our citizens die by the thousands from this deadly virus. Trump will do nothing to save us or unite us. He will only divide us and encourage hatred. Please vote, and when you do, make sure it’s blue because Biden will save all of you. Save our United States and vote blue!

Love is Trying to Hold on to Your Faith

If someone passes you on the street without a mask, don’t be too alarmed, that person will not infect you. The beauty is believing in science, and that will protect you. After all, you wear the mask, and you keep your distance. It’s a new world, but we still hold on to Faith because none of this is normal.

Introducing Mary, Jane, and Lucy

These three hippie chicks are the main characters in the Losing the Boomer Blues Trilogy. They grew up during the sixties in San Francisco and experienced the magic of the Summer of Love in Haight-Asbury. My characters are flower children who live life passionately in the now. The thrill of their journey is no different than your own. They have entered into the world of Covid, and that stopped their adventures dead in their tracks. The President has let this deadly virus get out of control. Everything is coming full circle for these three life-long friends. It’s time to cry out for change once again.

The prequel, Boomer Chicks, has been published. I am presently writing my third story: Boomer Chicks Mask Up. Need I say more than that to get your undivided attention. This story will be hard to end with peace, love, and happiness, but I am hoping somehow it will end on a positive note. The future is ours to make. Mary, Jane, and Lucy will struggle as they did before to find freedom, peace, happiness, and love.
