I was thinking about Jesus and how He inspired Christmas. From the beginning to the end, He gave His life to save us from sin.
I see Trump in prison saying he is thirsty and a guard handing him a cup of water asking him why he didn’t stop the insurrection. Trump says, I won the election. The guard says, that is an illusion.
Someday when the sun shines brighter and the birds fly higher, we will see the light. Justice will prevail as clouds lift and criminals are sent to jail.
Kindness means everything. Indifference means nothing. Think about that next time you are preaching hatred to your audience. Morality speaks volumes.
Jesus came to earth on Christmas day to save us. You won’t find Him carrying a gun or preaching hate to anyone.
I walked beside a homeless woman today. While we stood at the red light we both stared up at the clouds wondering if it would start to rain. I thought to myself, I know man can paint them but can you tell me who created them? “Be kind to others,” I heard a voice say. “I made everything.” When the light turned green I gave the woman my umbrella and my bottle of water. I pulled my hood up over my head and the woman said, “thank you, believe it or not, I’m terribly thirsty.” And as we parted ways it began to rain. From a distance I watched her open the umbrella and then the bottle of water. Yes, God made everything and today I thanked Him.
Dear God: Be our Santa Claus. End Putin’s war, stop hate, feed & house the homeless, heal our polluted planet, and end Covid. I fear love won’t stand a chance if this doesn’t come to pass.
Every year we have a chance to give thanks and make a difference in the world but somehow we fail to make peace during the year and create an absence of love due to the lack of goodwill.
